  Block making plants  
 

Block making plants are installations which contains many different machines and all together their use is to produce blocks, bricks, paving bricks and and other concrete elements.

TYPES OF PLANTS

Basically there are 2 types:

  1. Stationary block/paver making plant
  2. Movable block/paver making plant

with their sub-types where can make only blocks, or all kind of concrete products, like paving stones, cubrstones, chimney elements, with double layer option [facemix] or without.

 

Diferences

  • Stationary plant is located in factory building with partly outside machinery [inline boxews for raw material, cement silo and loading skip that goes inside-out for loading mixer].
  • Stationary plants are more efficient and usually faster then movable type.
  • Use of working wooden pallets, or other types is mandatory.
  • Having full automatic plant is standard today.
  • Less workers are needed.

 

  • Movable plant is outside located, on concrete slab.
  • Concrete slab has to be made by certain standards.
  • In countries that have hot weather conditions, use of water sprinkling system is needed.
  • No need for working wooden pallets.
  • Movable machines are easier for maintenance and usually are less expensive.
  • Machines can be semi-automatic or full automatic.
  • Needs more workers.

Plant

BLOCK MAKING MACHINE
The main device is block making machine which can be stationary or movable [egg layer]. There are several types of both main machines and the difference is in size, capacity and automation.
There are manual, semiautomatic and full automatic models.
THere are also models which can make only blocks and bricks, and there are models which can make paving bricks too [besides usual blocks]. Machine is loading with concrete mixture over SKIP device.

MOULDS [molds]
Moulds for block making machines gives a shape to the concrete and can be different size and shape. There are many types of moulds, for: blocks, bricks, paving stones, chimneys, pavements, sidewalk curbstones etc.
Molds are changing [replacing] into the block making machine when you want to make other type of concrete elements.

SKIP for loading block making machine
This device is using for elevating concrete mixture from Pan mixer into the bunker of block making machine.
System needs 2 pcs because of 2 bunkers on the machine, one for fine and the other for usual concrete mixture.

CONCRETE PAN MIXERS
Their use is for mixing concrete, for preparing concrete mixture.
There are several types of concrete pan mixers:
- for fine concrete mixture [paving bricks]
- for usual concrete mixture [blocks, bricks, etc.]
Also, the difference between concrete pan mixers is in size and capacity of mixing concrete.
Mixers are movable.
Pan mixer is loading manually or by tilting loader skip.

SKIP for concrete pan mixer
This is the device for loading concrete pan mixer with materials for concrete mixture and there are few different types dependably of capacity.

LOWERATOR
Same construction as elevator, is using for lowering down pallets with dry elements on the line for transport until the point of packaging concrete elements from working pallets on pallet for store housing and transport.

TRANSPORT DEVICE FOR PALLETS WITH DRY ELEMENTS
Same construction as transport device for fresh pressed elements, and it's use is for transport pallets with dry elements from lowerator until the packaging device - CUBER.
The length of transporting line is usually 5-6 m.

CUBER
Usually semiautomatic device which do the packaging of ready and dry elements, and moves then on transport palletes. It is not obligation to have it in plant but it is very usefull machine.

TRANSPORT DEVICE FOR FINISHED [FRESH PRESSED] ELEMENTS
On the exit of the block making machine pallets with finished elements takes the system for transport pallets until the elevator. System for transport works on electro motor power (motor - reductor) with chains.
The length of transporting line is usually 5-6 m.

ELEVATOR
The transport of fresh pressed elements ends at the device for elevating pallets - ELEVATOR.
Elevator takes 10 levels with 2 pallets - total max. 1400 x 1400 mm.
